A Journey To Be Celebrated

Youth Alive Ministries is one of the oldest and most successful youth organizations in Soweto that has played a major role in the development of young people.

During the apartheid era the organization played a major role in providing an avenue and platform in educating and mobilizing young people to play an important and positive part in bringing change in our society. One of the virtues encouraged and instilled in young people was the importance of education.

In the post – apartheid society the organization continued to play an important role in equipping young people to face challenges in their lives like HIV / AIDS, unemployment, and the tasks they have to handle in their different development stages.

Over the last 50 years, Youth Alive has touched the lives of approximately 50 000 young people who have grown to become responsible and influential members of society. A significant number of them occupy prominent leadership positions in business, government, churches and civil society........
